Update – City of Toronto Animal Bylaw Public Consultation

The following was sent to the TBCA by the Councillor’s office on the behalf of Toronto Animal Services:

As you may know, Municipal Licensing and Standards is proposing a series of amendments to Toronto Municipal Code, Chapter 349 Animals By-law. You are invited to join us at a public consultation, where you can provide feedback on proposed changes, as well as learn more about several Toronto Animal Services’ programs, services and activities.  More information is available online 

Three consultations will be held:

  • ·        Etobicoke Civic Centre, Council Chambers, Monday, October 15, 2012, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm;
  • ·        Metro Hall, Rm 310, Wednesday, October 17, 2012, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm;
  • ·        North York Civic Centre, Council Chambers, Thursday, October 18, 2012, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

ASL interpreters and personal support workers will be present; please advise if other accommodation is required.

Thank you to those who provided input for Survey # 1.  Your input is being analyzed and will be discussed in the upcoming Staff Report.   We invite you to provide us with further input by completing Survey # 2 online before October 22, 2012.
