52 New Parking Spaces to be made for Car-Share companies in Toronto

car_share_reservedCity Council approved a report on the expansion of the Car-Share parking areas in the City in 2012.

The report states that Transportation Services has received applications for 26 locations throughout the City of Toronto, amounting to a total of 52 new parking spaces for Car-Share companies.

Within the Trinity Bellwoods Community, the following potential locations are identified:

  •      Euclid Avenue, between Queen Street West and Euclid Place
  •     Crawford Street, between Queen Street West and Logie Place
  •     Walnut Street, between Queen Street West and Richmond Street West

If you’re a park person, you need to be at the Toronto Park Summit. The Summit brings park advocates, city staff, and experts together with community groups, city councillors, and concerned Torontonians to network, brainstorm, and work together to build momentum for better parks.

Our theme for this year’s Summit is Good Parks for All Neighborhoods and our speakers and activities will focus on ideas and inspiration for ensuring that no matter where you live in Toronto, you have access to a great park.

Do Design on Dundas Street West – January 24 to 27, 2013

The third annual streetwide event showcasing contemporary design will turn storefronts on Dundas Street West between Bathurst Street and Shaw Street into exhibition venues for design objects.

Organized by the Trinity Bellwoods BIA, the event will happening in conjunction with Toronto design week and the Toronto Interior Design Show. The event’s diverse range of host venues, which includes boutiques, cafés, restaurants, a pharmacy, a hardware store, beauty parlors, and a dentist’s office. Most pieces will be visible from the street and may be viewed outside of opening hours. Admission is free.

Queen West Art Crawl: Registration now open

Early bird Registration is now open for the 2013 Queen West Art Crawl (Saturday, September 21st and Sunday, September 22nd, 2013).

  • Early Bird Participation fee is: $225.00 +  $29.25 HST = $254.25
  • General Participation fee is: $275.00 +  $35.75 HST = $310.75
