Public Hearings for 110 Palmerston and 146 Strachan; and a Liquor License on Queen Street W

Variances

Two properties have filed for variances with the city’s committee of adjustment department, including 110 Palmerston Avenue and 146 Strachan. If these changes affect you be sure to attend the public hearing on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 3:30pm (see notices for more details) and make your voice heard.

110 Palmerston Avenue: To demolish the existing one-storey single family detached dwelling; and, to construct a three-storey residential building containing two dwelling units. Also, to construct a detached two-car garage at the rear.

146 Strachan. Part1: To alter the existing one-storey row house by constructing second and third storey additions, two front porches, a front basement walkout, front bay windows and a rear deck. Also, to convert the dwelling into two units. Part 2: To construct a new three-storey detached dwelling with an integral single car garage. Note: The new dwelling will front on to Massey Street.

New Liquor Licence Application: 685 Queen Street West

The site currently hosts Zum Living Store and the new application for a liquor licence was made under the name “Miracle Cafe”. If you have concerns regarding this application, or require more information, please contact the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario at (416) 326-8700.
