parsley vegetable green gardenThere are still four more opportunities to pick up free compost in Ward 19, which will help all of the gardeners in the ward prepare for the growing season. This compost comes from your leaf and yard waste that the City collects as part of the waste reduction and recycling program.

Mike Layton, who is hosting the event, will also have rubber gloves and garbage bags for anyone who would like to help collect garbage left over from the winter thaw that has collected on the ground.

Please remember to bring your own shovels and containers to collect your free compost.
