On Sunday, June 14, 2015, at 11 am, the Portuguese Day Parade will take place. Event organizers anticipate 10,000 participants, 100 motor vehicles, 40 floats, and six musical bands.
• Formation area: Lansdowne Avenue and College Street
• Southbound on Lansdowne Avenue to Dundas Street W
• Eastbound on Dundas Street West to Trinity Bellwoods Park
• Dispersal area: Dundas Street W and Gore Vale Avenue as well as Trinity Bellwoods Park
Motorists can expect delays in the area and should consider alternate methods of transportation.
Full road closures:
9 am – 1 pm: Lansdowne Avenue, from Bloor Street West to College Street
10:45 am – 3 pm: Lansdowne Avenue, from College Street to Dundas Street West
Dundas Street West, from Sorauren Avenue to Bathurst Street
The TTC will be re-routing buses during the event and will experience delays.
The parade will take place regardless of weather conditions.
The Dundas West BIA and the Little Portugal BIA have come together to present a full day filled with fun family events to celebrate the entire community.
The Dundas West Fest stretches across 12 city blocks and features 3 stages, 6 busker areas, over 40 patios, and shopping at over 200 different vendors, including a curated vintage and handmade market. But more than just the numbers, the festival has food and music that can be enjoyed by the whole family, and special activities for children.

The Scadding Court Farmer’s Market has moved. Vendors will now be at Bathurst and Niagara Streets on Mondays. The hours of operation have also been expanded to between 4 and 8 pm.
